Erasmus+ KA1 budget calculator for staff mobility
Enter the activity, the number of participants, the days, the distance band and the daily rate your National Agency set for the destination. The calculator applies the unit costs of the 2026 Programme Guide: travel by distance band (higher for green travel), individual support with 70% from day 15, course fees of 80 € per day, and organisational support of 100 € (courses) or 350 € (job shadowing and teaching).
Calculate your budget
How the calculator works
- Travel uses the distance bands of the 2026 Programme Guide. Measure your distance with the official distance calculator.
- Individual support uses the daily rate you enter. Your sending National Agency sets it within the EU range for the destination group.
- Course fees apply only to courses and training: 80 € per participant per day, for 2 to 10 days.
- Organisational support is 100 € per participant for courses and 350 € for job shadowing and teaching assignments (200 € after the first 100 participants, not modelled here).
Questions coordinators ask us
Why do I have to enter the daily rate?
Because each National Agency sets its own rate within the EU range. Look for “individual support” on your National Agency’s website.
Can I use the calculator for KA121?
Yes. The unit costs are the same for accredited and short-term projects.
