We want everyone to be able to use akadimos.com and take part in our courses, including people with disabilities.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which is the level used in the European standard EN 301 549.
How accessible this website is
This website is partly compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA.
What we already do
- You can zoom text up to 200% without losing content.
- You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are.
- Text and buttons have enough colour contrast.
- Every form field has a label. Errors are explained in words, not only with colour.
- Images have text descriptions.
- Nothing plays automatically.
- The map loads only if you ask for it, and the address is always written out as text.
- Each page states its language, and Greek links are marked as Greek.
What is not yet accessible
- Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will send you an accessible version.
- Content from other services, such as Google Maps and YouTube videos, is not fully under our control.
- Some videos may not yet have captions.
Our centre in Veria
If you have access needs, tell us when you book and we will plan around them. We adapt course materials and activities, and we can help you request Erasmus+ inclusion support for extra costs.
