Our story

Who we are

Akadimos is a lifelong learning centre in Northern Greece, licensed by the national authority EOPPEP. Every year we train hundreds of adults in seminars, workshops and vocational courses.

Since 2021 we have worked in 19 Erasmus+ projects with partners in 17 countries. We design training, build learning platforms, pilot with real learners and now host teachers and staff from across Europe.

How to get to Veria
  • Fly to Thessaloniki (SKG)
    Direct flights from most European capitals and hubs, or one easy connection.
  • Or fly to Athens (ATH)
    Then a 50-minute domestic flight to Thessaloniki.
  • Thessaloniki to Veria
    1 hour by car or the regular KTEL bus. We send you clear directions before you travel.
  • Your free afternoons
    Vergina and Meteora (UNESCO), Aristotle’s school, Edessa waterfalls and Mount Olympus.
